The Pink Diamond

The pink diamond and also the red and purple diamond are incredibly rare. Nearly all red, pink, and purple diamonds are found in the Argyle Mine in Australia. In the 17th and 18th centuries many pink diamonds were found in Brazil, India and Tanzania, however, during the last century the Argyle Mine is among the most significant producers of pink diamonds. The pink diamonds from these mines are referred to as Argyle pink.
